TeleHealth Resistance Exercise Intervention to Preserve Dose Intensity and Vitality in Elder Breast Cancer Patients (THRIVE-65)

What Participation Looks Like

This study is primarily virtual and home-based with little to no need for additional clinic visits. Participation is designed to feel manageable and provide support alongside the care of your oncology team.

Participation may include:

  • Resistance exercise training plans tailored to your needs
  • Diet and nutrition guidance, with a focus on protein intake
  • Regular check-ins with your trainer, dietitian, and research team

Participants may also receive:

  • Activity-tracking technology
  • Exercise equipment and resources to support physical activity at home
  • Nutrition resources, such as a protein supplement and blender bottle

Who Can Take Part

You may be eligible for the THRIVE-65 study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Are 65 or older
  • Plan to begin (or have recently started) chemotherapy for breast cancer
  • Can walk unassisted
  • Meet the study’s medical guidelines

Participation is entirely voluntary. Outcomes are not guaranteed.
